1/27/2021 THE UPSTANDERS DOCUMENTARY SCREENING

Several Municipal Alliances in Somerset County joined together to provide this free virtual documentary screening and panel discussion for parents and teens. The Upstanders explores cyber-bullying, bullying among friends, families, co-workers and the brain science behind it all. The film highlights new laws and programs already reducing bullying in schools and shows us how we can learn to make a difference together to create systemic change.

 This will take place January 27, 2021 at 7:00 PM. You can register at http://bit.ly/theupstanders. This is free and open to the public.

MARION T. BEDWELL SCHOOL KINDERGARTEN PAPERWORK FOR SEPTEMBER 2021
All parents/guardians of children who will be entering kindergarten in September 2021 are to pick up a registration package at the Bedwell School during the week of February 1, 2021 through February 5, 2021 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Students must be five years of age by October 1, 2021 in order to enroll in Kindergarten for the 2021 – 2022 school year.

1/18/2021IN STUDIO AND ONLINE WINTER CLASSES FOR CHILDREN AND TEENS AT THE CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY ART
In studio and online winter classes for children and teens begin at The Center for Contemporary Art in Bedminster on January 19th.  The Center’s unique curriculum of children’s art classes, in studio at The Center and online, allows young artists to enroll in in-depth classes designed to deepen and develop skills in a single medium. Classes include Drawing In Depth, Painting In Depth, The Dynamic Sketchbook, Pottery Wheel Throwing & Hand Building, Graffiti Off the Wall, Advanced Art Projects and Cartooning/Manga/Anime. Classes for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other special needs are offered in studio at The Center on Monday afternoons beginning January 25, and provide guided experiences that foster communication, creativity, and problem solving with hands-on activities.
