5/31/2020 VIRTUAL SUMMER ART CAMPS FOR AGES 5-15 FROM THE CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY ART.
Weekly Virtual Summer Art Camps for children and teens ages 5 - 15 from The Center for Contemporary Art in Bedminster, will take place online via Zoom. Camps are designed to stimulate creative expression through projects and activities that change each week. Children develop important artistic techniques and learn about the principles of visual art, historical periods and well-known artists. These camps are: led by professional, experienced, and creative teaching artists; have curriculum tailored to three individual age groups; offer small classes; provide students with projects and themes that vary weekly; all art supplies are provided. Reminder:  The Somerset County Library System of New Jersey's (https://sclsnj.org/) digital resources continue to be available to ALL Somerset County residents, whether your library is part of the County System or not, effective immediately, now through May 31, 2020.

BERNARDSVILLE LIBRARY 
Bernardsville Library's building may be closed, but many services are still available. While telephone hours had to be curtailed as of May 1st to conserve funds, cardholders can get answers to questions about library card numbers, password resets, other account inquiries, and reference questions by emailing 
librarian@bernardsvillelibrary.org. Bernardsville residents who don't have a card already can get a virtual library card by emailing that same address.  Library staff will answer as soon as possible. 
Be sure to check the library's YouTube channel for recorded story times and short tutorials for using the library's online resources for free downloadable books, movies, and magazines.  The library's website, www.bernardsvillelibrary.org & Facebook page have information updates on virtual programs and information about materials for children, teens, and adults

PREPARATION & PLANNING - DISASTER/PANDEMIC READINESS
COVID-19 has created many challenges for residents across New Jersey. Families are rightfully concerned about the impact the Novel Coronavirus could have on them if a parent/guardian becomes sick. The New Jersey Department of Children and Families recognizes that these are uncomfortable, but necessary conversations. Click here for information regarding preparation and planing for pandemic readiness. 
HPV VACCINATION IS CANCER PREVENTION!  
All boys and girls ages 11 to 12 should get the vaccine.   The human papillomavirus, or HPV, is a very common virus that can cause several cancers.  The HPV vaccine protects against the virus and the cancers it can cause.

It is that season again and Bernards Varsity Cheer is so excited for the incoming 8th graders! If you are interested in joining please email Coach Taylor tmastrologo@gmail.com ! NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED! JOIN our team to compete in multiple competitions AND cheer on Bernards Varsity Football!

6/22/2020 ST. JOHN ON THE MOUNTAIN VBS CAMP
Children ages 3 - rising 4th graders are welcome to join us for games, Bible stories, and snacks at St. John's VBS Camp from June 22-26th. Camp is from 9:30-noon each day. Registration deadline is May 20th. Limited volunteer opportunities available as well.
6/22/2020 NJ AUDUBON DAY AND OVERNIGHT SUMMER NATURE CAMPS
NJ Audubon Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary offers Summer Nature Day Camps at our sanctuary in Bernardsville, NJ for children Pre-K to entering Grade 6 , and overnight adventure camps at the Barnegat Bay and Delaware Water Gap for children entering Grades 6 -10 .  Pre-care and post-care available. Bernardsville Recreation is offering summer camps for the 2020 summer season.
