The Somerset Hills Education Foundation is pleased to announce a new initiative - the SHEF Enrichment Academy.  The Academy, launching in July of 2013, will offer a host of courses to be held at Somerset Hills School District facilities.  Reasonably priced, these courses will enhance or enrich students' current academic pursuits and help develop various skills, abilities, talents and interests.  The SHEF Enrichment Academy courses will not provide academic credit. 2012-2013 Revised District Calendar

The Board of Education is pleased to announce that Dr. Frances Wood, Ed.D has been appointed the new superintendent of The Somerset Hills School District, effective July 1, 2013.  Click here for press release.

The New Jersey Department of Education has announced that Bedwell is one of only two school buildings in the state to be recognized as a 2013 New Jersey Green Ribbon School. Additionally, Bedwell will be submitted to the U.S. Department of Education as one of New Jersey’s nominees for recognition as a Green Ribbon School at the national level. The Green Ribbon School Program recognizes exemplary achievement and best practices in the areas of environmental impact and energy efficiency, healthy school environments and environmental and sustainability education.  Click here for press release.

Effective immediately, visitors to The Somerset Hills School District may be asked to show a photo ID upon arrival.    Additionally, as a reminder, all visitors are required sign in at the main office, state the purpose of the visit,  wear a visitor’s badge, sign out, and return the visitor’s badge when leaving.
