NJ Science League
Bernards High students competing in the Chemistry I division of the New Jersey Science League placed 7th in the state from a pool of 72 competing schools.Two students placed in the top 10% of competitors in the state: Lucian Spiteri placed 24th and Dheirya Tyagi placed 3rd in the state competition.


New Jersey Science League is an extracurricular program through which students compete in tests from a variety of science topics. 

Chemistry I is aimed at first year chemistry students, with competitions happening four times a year. The Chem I team is supported by BHS Chemistry teacher, and team advisor, Christine Whitlock.
